In the summer of 2024, I had my exhibition at De Roos, a renowned spiritual centre. This event marked a significant milestone in my artistic journey, showcasing a carefully curated collection of my work. The exhibition featured three captivating series: Feminine Touch, People Doing Stuff, and Nature is Art, which were beautifully displayed throughout the entrance, shop, restaurant, and hallways of De Roos. The spiritual atmosphere of the venue provided an ideal backdrop for more introspective and spiritual pieces.
Exploring the Series: Feminine Touch
The Feminine Touch series encapsulates my vision of femininity in contemporary society. Each piece in this series is a reflection of the diverse experiences and narratives that shape what it means to be a woman today. By using mixed media techniques, I invite viewers to engage in dialogue about cultural differences and empowerment.
Artistic Themes: People Doing Stuff
My People Doing Stuff series presents a lighthearted yet insightful exploration of everyday life. Through candid portrayals of individuals engaging in mundane activities, it highlights the beauty found in ordinary moments. This series invites viewers to appreciate the art in daily routines and gestures, encouraging them to find meaning in the seemingly trivial.
Nature as Inspiration: Nature Is Art
Nature plays a pivotal role in the works of many artists, and I am no exception. My Nature is Art series encapsulates my deep reverence for the natural world. Using vibrant colors and organic shapes, I capture the essence of landscapes, flora, and fauna, reflecting the interconnectedness of all life.
